Letters to Wendy

Directed by Grace Alberti
Written and Performed by Kat Gallo

How can you partner with a character from your childhood to navigate growing up? What can we learn from the characters of JM Barrie's Peter Pan, and what can they learn from us? In this solo performance, Katherine explores gender, queerness, neurodivergency, and the horrifying reality of leaving childhood behind, while Peter Pan confronts his new reality, now that Wendy and the Lost Boys have left Neverland.

*Performed at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and The TANK NYC

A Giving Tree

Directed by Siena Yusi
Based on The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

Can you truly love someone who only knows how to take? Can you give to the ones you love without becoming a stump? Based on the beloved children's book, The Giving Tree, this devised piece investigates the relationship between the tree and her boy and how we may implement their teachings into our own relationships.

Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens

Directed by John Thornton
Kat Gallo as Rebecca/Grace

A dramatic and musical theater piece composed of free verse poems and songs reflecting the lives of people who have lived with and died from AIDS. Each of the over 30 poems represent a character who has died from AIDS, while the songs reflect the feeling of the living - the people who have felt the loss of so many friends and loved ones.

Earthquakes in London

Directed by Jordan Powell and Sophie Kelly-Hedrick
Kat Gallo as Peter

As global destruction approaches, the lives of a climate scientist and his three estranged daughters come crashing unexpectedly back together. The wildly epic Earthquakes in London embodies the chaos of today’s society, and asks us what matters most when everything's falling apart.
